Spoke to Darrell and Teresa on Tuesday. They returned from Houston over the weekend and spent the next couple of days resting from the travel and the tests.
The Doctors at M.D. Anderson repeated many of the same tests the Doctors here had run and they came up with basically the same diagnosis. That's okay because now they are more confident in the prescribed treatment.
Darrell will take an oral medication for two weeks and then stay off for two weeks. The meds will cause some fatigue but Darrell is going to work at least partial days.
- Pray for his physical and emotional strength.
- Pray that the meds will do the most effective work possible.
- Pray for Teresa's emotional and physical strength as well.
- Pray for their children and the strain all of this places on them.
Please take a moment today and email Darrell and Teresa. I know many of you feel like you don't know what to say. The words are far less important than the time you take to reach out to them.
